TechCrunch has announced that the Super Early Bird registration period for its flagship Disrupt 2026 conference will close in five days. The discounted rates, offering savings of up to $680 on individual passes, will end on February 27 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

The annual event, a cornerstone of the technology industry's calendar, is scheduled to take place from October 13 to 15, 2026, at San Francisco's Moscone West convention centre. It is expected to draw over 10,000 attendees, including founders, tech executives, and venture capitalists.

A Platform for Connection and Innovation

Disrupt 2025 featured more than 200 on-stage sessions with over 250 industry leaders, a scale expected to be replicated in 2026. The event facilitates significant networking, with more than 20,000 curated meetings occurring across three days last year. Organisers have stated that improved networking technology will be deployed for the 2026 edition to enhance connection efficiency.

"Meet the one person who can change the trajectory of your startup. It only takes one," the event promotion states, highlighting its focus on pivotal professional encounters.

Startup Battlefield and Exhibition

A central feature is the Startup Battlefield pitch competition, where 200 pre-Series A startups selected by TechCrunch compete for $100,000 in non-equity funding and visibility. The competition has a notable alumni network, including companies like Discord, Cloudflare, and Trello.

Additionally, over 300 startup exhibitors will showcase products and innovations in the Expo Hall, a primary hub for attendee foot traffic.

Expanded Disrupt Week Activities

The core conference days are part of a broader "Disrupt Week" running from October 11 to 17, 2026. This period will include numerous side events across the San Francisco Bay Area, such as cocktail hours, breakfast meetings, and independently hosted panels, extending networking opportunities beyond the main venue.

Group passes are also available at a discount, with savings of up to 30%.
